Guides Hub

[ENDLESS] Build a Boss is a 2D pixel boss-builder on Roblox from taapr studios. You buy guns, lasers, and armor parts, assemble a boss, then push it through 75 levels across 10 named zonesScrapyard through First Light—while chasing cash, gems, and three-star ratings. Later systems add a skills tree, build slots, an AFK zone, daily rewards, optional game passes, and Endless leaderboards. This Guides Hub is the map of every how-to on the wiki.

Servers hold up to 10 players. The experience launched on 22 August 2026 (place 121716260544429) and uses the Ro2D engine. There are no promo codes at launch—check the Codes Hub only when the studio posts one. There is no rebirth system—do not plan around one. Progress comes from fights, smart spending, skills/slots, AFK/dailies, and rebuild loops.

Where to start

  1. Getting Started — join the place, learn the loop, spend early cash without dead-ending your first boss.
  2. Controls — movement, build UI, fight flow, and mobile vs desktop habits.
  3. How to Build a Boss — guns vs lasers vs armor roles, placement habits, and when to rebuild.
  4. Rebuild vs Upgrade — cash/gem opportunity cost and when to scrap the whole chassis.
  5. Mobile Tips — touch build UI, fight readability, and performance habits on phones.
  6. Cash & Gems Farming — efficient clears, when to bank gems, and what not to impulse-buy.
  7. How to Get 3 Stars — what star ratings usually reward and how to prep for them.
  8. Zones & Levels Walkthrough — Scrapyard → First Light pacing, farm brackets, and badge bosses.
  9. Endless Mode & Leaderboards — Top 50 / 25 / 5 / 1 goals after the campaign foundation.
  10. Game Passes — Full Unlock, Second Chance, Double Gems, Double Cash—when Robux beats grinding.
  11. Skills Tree & Build Slots — Fully Wired, Crowded, Land Owner, and spend priority.
  12. AFK Zone & Daily Rewards — Overnight Farm, Daily Claimer, and Still Here session habits.

Pair these with the Tier List Hub when you are choosing part roles, the Best Builds page for archetypes (Glass Cannon, Balanced Fortress, Laser Piercer), the Build Checklist before a hard push, and the Progress Tracker for named-zone / star logs.

How the game loop works

Every session revolves around the same cycle:

  1. Earn cash and gems by winning fights (plus AFK/dailies when parked).
  2. Buy parts—and budget leftover currency into skills and slots.
  3. Assemble a boss that can survive the next named zone’s pressure.
  4. Fight, read the result (clear quality, stars, rewards), then upgrade, skill-up, or rebuild.
  5. Optional late exam: queue Endless once mid/late zones are stable.

That loop is short on purpose. Early zones (Scrapyard–Hive) teach that a glass boss melts, an all-armor boss never finishes in time for stars, and a laser-heavy boss can punch through packs that guns alone struggle with. Mid zones (Magma Pit–Drowned Works) raise HP pools and density. Late zones (Bone March–First Light) punish nostalgia kits. The guides below teach you to diagnose failures instead of randomly buying the next shiny part.

Early, mid, and late framing

We use three progression bands throughout the wiki:

  • Early — Scrapyard, Frostlands, Hive: Survive long enough to learn the shop. Prioritize a starter gun role, a thin armor shell, and one laser if packs stack. Claim dailies; rebuild often.
  • Mid — Magma Pit, Geode, Void Gate, Drowned Works: Specialize. Pick an archetype and stop mixing random shop impulse buys. Stars become a real economy lever; fund skills/slots on purpose.
  • Late — Bone March, Green Rot, First Light (+ Endless): Meta shifts with patches. Re-read part tooltips after updates. Armor must keep up with spike damage; lasers often carry piercing value; Endless Top N badges are optional prestige after the campaign.

Official copy from taapr studios highlights guns, lasers, and armor as the three part pillars. Our guides stick to that language. When we name roles like “Starter Gun,” “Burst Laser,” or “Plate Armor,” those are evaluation categories players use in the shop—not trademarked item names.

How to use this hub efficiently

  • Skim the linked guide that matches your stuck point; do not reread everything every session.
  • After a failed star attempt, jump to Three Stars and the Build Checklist before grinding the same level ten times.
  • When the shop feels overwhelming, open Parts Tier and score candidates by damage role, pierce role, and tank role for your current named zone, not for endgame fantasy.
  • When Robux temptation hits, read Game Passes before impulse-buying.
  • Share layouts in the taapr studios community and on the Players Hub etiquette notes—servers are small (max 10), so courtesy matters.
  • Tier List Hub — role rankings and build archetypes
  • Tools Hub — checklists and planning workflows
  • Players Hub — groups, tip sharing, server etiquette
  • Updates Hub — patch notes when the studio ships changes
  • Codes Hub — empty for now; watch for future drops

Keep this hub bookmarked. As new zones, shop parts, Endless rules, or passes land in updates, the child guides will grow first—then this index will point you to the newest fix.
